Just as the pieces of a puzzle fit together to form a complete image, the global research and education network relies on collaboration between networks, organizations, and people around the world. In November 2024, an experiment conducted at the Supercomputing Conference (SC24) in Atlanta, United States, demonstrated how these global research and education connections work together effectively.

Costa Rica will be the host of the next edition of TICAL in 2025, reaffirming its position as a key center for digital transformation in Latin America and the Caribbean. GÉANT, the European research and education network, has announced that registration is open and calls for proposals are being launched for the Security Days 2025, which will take place from 8 to 10 April in Prague, Czech Republic. In its second edition, this conference seeks to bring together security experts from around the world linked to the research and education sectors.
