March 26: Second Talk in the Framework of the Call for Expanding BELLA
As part of the Call for Ideas organized by the SPIDER project and RedCLARA, the second inspirational talk will take place, aiming to further drive the collaborative creation of projects and ventures that leverage BELLA’s infrastructure for digital transformation between the European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean.
This session will feature Carla Osthoff, coordinator of the National High-Performance Computing Center (CENAPAD) at Brazil’s National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC). Osthoff will present a talk titled "The Brazilian Supercomputing System in the HPC and AI Landscape in Latin America and Europe," discussing the role of supercomputing in research and innovation, as well as its impact on the development of advanced technological solutions.
The event seeks to inspire researchers, entrepreneurs, and creatives to develop initiatives that take advantage of advanced connectivity networks, high-performance computing (HPC), and emerging technologies to generate impact across various fields of knowledge.
The Call for Ideas remains open until April 4, offering selected participants the opportunity to connect with investors and key players in the digital ecosystem, receive personalized mentoring, participate in webinars, and present their proposals at the closing event.
