The Copernicus Academy Guatemala Ideathon seeks innovative solutions for risk management in the Motagua River Basin
From february 10 to 20, 2025, the Copernicus Academy Guatemala will host a virtual Ideathon to develop innovative solutions aimed at preventing risks in the Motagua River Basin. Leveraging satellite data from the European Union's (EU) Earth Observation Program, Copernicus, the event will address challenges such as water management, waste management, and ecosystem restoration and conservation, seeking to promote effective and sustainable strategies in these areas.
From December 5–8, TICAL 2024, under the theme "Connecting Knowledge: AI and Data as Catalysts for Academic and Social Transformation," will offer a rich and valuable program of lectures, round tables, and panels. Organized by RedCLARA and the BELLA II Project with the support of Brazil's advanced network, RNP, this event will serve as a key platform to address the challenges and advancements the region faces in crucial areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), e-health, open science, sustainability, and cybersecurity.
The Ibero-American Network for Digital Health (RISAD) organized the V Ibero-American Digital Health Congress, bringing together experts and key leaders from the health sector to discuss innovative topics such as telemonitoring in pregnant women, the role of human capital in telehealth, and the integration of artificial intelligence in telemedicine for self-sustaining projects.
