The BELLA II Open Strategic DialogueI, held on 8 April in Yucatán, Mexico, was organized by RedCLARA and the University Corporation for Internet Development (CUDI), with the support of the Autonomous University of Yucatán (UADY) and the Internet Exchange Services Yucatán (IXSY). It was attended by representatives from government, business and academia.

The Latin American Cooperation of Advanced Networks (RedCLARA), within the framework of implementing the BELLA II Project (Building the Europe Link to Latin America and the Caribbean), led by the regional network and co-financed by the European Union, announced on Monday, April 8th, the call for hiring Consultancy Services on Procurement Policies, Procedure, and Methodologies. The call will remain open until April 28th. 

Developments such as the launch of the "Ventanilla Abierta a la Investigación" service, the introduction of RedCLARA's new Gender Strategy, and the successful outcomes from the BELLA II Ideathon focusing on agri-food innovation, headline the 54th edition of the DeCLARA bulletin. This quarterly publication of the regional network returns in 2024 with a renewed vigor.

The Latin American Cooperation of Advanced Networks (RedCLARA) and the Corporación Universitaria para el Desarrollo de Internet (CUDI) are scheduled to host the workshop entitled "The Role of Universities and NRENs in Building a Viable, Sustainable and Impactful Digital Future in Latin America and the Caribbean" on April 8th in Yucatan, Mexico.

A delegation from RedCLARA, comprised of Mark Urban, Director of International Cooperation, Academic Relations, and Communications, along with Cecilia Ortiz, Manager of Academic Network Engagement, embarked on a mission across Peru from March 4th to 8th. Their agenda was packed with meetings and workshops aimed at fostering the establishment of the National Research and Education Network (RNIE) of the country and showcasing the benefits of connecting to the BELLA II Project, coordinated by the organization and funded by the European Union.
