The European Southern Observatory (ESO) and the National University Network of Chile (REUNA) announced the signing of a new agreement, thanks to which the European organization joins the Corporation as a Collaborating Partner. The purpose of the partnership is to strengthen the relationship between both institutions and foster new opportunities for linkages between the observatory and other scientific and academic entities in Chile and Latin America

RedCLARA's Annual Report for the year 2021 is now available for download and consultation in digital version and/or PDF. Some of the topics addressed in the document are: The launch of the submarine connectivity of the BELLA Project and its impact on the region and the world, the different alliances and cooperation agreements established with institutions from other continents and the achievements of the TICAL Conference and the 5th Latin American e-Science Meeting.

The Working Group on Blockchain Formation - formed by specialists from the national research and education networks (NREN) of Latin America and articulated by RedCLARA -, acting within the scope of the LACChain Alliance for the development of the Blockchain Ecosystem in Latin America and the Caribbean led by the BID-LAB, launched an introductory course on the topic, which will take place from July 25th to August 26th.
