The European Southern Observatory (ESO) and the National University Network of Chile (REUNA) announced the signing of a new agreement, thanks to which the European organization joins the Corporation as a Collaborating Partner. With the aim of training HPC administrators with the latest supercomputing technologies, the EU-LAC ResInfra project and the National High Performance Computing Laboratory (NLHPC) will carry out the First School of HPC Administrators in Latin America and the Caribbean. The event will be held between October 17 and 28 in Santiago de Chile.
The Working Group on Blockchain Formation - formed by specialists from the national research and education networks (NREN) of Latin America and articulated by RedCLARA -, acting within the scope of the LACChain Alliance for the development of the Blockchain Ecosystem in Latin America and the Caribbean led by the BID-LAB, launched an introductory course on the topic, which will take place from July 25th to August 26th.
