Brazil’s advanced research and education network RNP, together with the Escola Superior de Redes (ESR), has launched the course “Blockchain, Web3 and Rollups”.

This initiative is part of the ILIADA project, implemented by RNP and CPQD, under the coordination of Softex, with the goal of strengthening Brazil’s blockchain ecosystem.

The course begins on August 5, offering sessions that combine theory and practice around some of today’s most disruptive technologies. The program includes 40 hours of training, with live online classes held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (BRT).

The training is intended for professionals, researchers, technicians, and students interested in understanding the functioning, applications, and transformative potential of these emerging digital technologies. Key topics include: Blockchain and Web3 fundamentals, smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps), scalability challenges and solutions, and an introduction to development with Cartesi Rollups.
