The videoconference Unit of the Peruvian Ricardo Palma University –a RAAP user (http://www.raap.pe/)-, invites the international community connected to RedCLARA to participate in the videoconference called “The world economic crisis”, led by the economist Hernando de Soto. The activity will be held on Tuesday 30 November from 15:00 to 17:00 GMT. The people interested in joining the videoconference have to send an email to videoconference@urp.edu.pe.

eLAC2015The “Proposal for a Plan of Action for the Information and Knowledge Society in Latin America and the Caribbean (eLAC2015)”, signed at the Third Ministerial Conference on Information Society of Latin America and the Caribbean, held in Lima, Peru, from 21 to 23 November 2010, highlights the relevance of RedCLARA in its 23rd Goal.

TNC2011TERENA invites to submit proposals for the TERENA Networking Conference 2011 (TNC2011), to be held in Prague between May 16 and 19, 2011, will feature “Enabling Communities” as core topic. The deadline for submitting papers is 30 November. In order to encourage the participation of the Latin American community, CLARA will cover through the ALICE2 project the airfare, meal and registration expenses of those who submit a paper that is accepted to be presented in TNC2011.
