La Comisión Europea ha lanzado EraWatch, plataforma de información en-línea en sistemas de investigación y políticas dentro de la Unión Europea más Canadá, Estados Unidos, Australia, Turquía, Israel, Brasil, China y Japón.
January 15-16: 33 hours and 17 telescopes from 13 countries of Europe, North America, South America (represented by Chile and the Transportable Integrated Geodetic Observatory - TIGO and the network of REUNA and its interconnection to the RedCLARA network), Asia and Oceania, linked by the advanced networks, will analyse quasars J0204 +1514.0234 +285 and 3C395, to provide more detailed images of the universe than previously obtained.

The ALICE2 Project started in December 2008; it is funded by the European Union (Contract DCI-ALA / 2008 / 169-068), through the @LIS II Programme, and it is implemented by CLARA. In this context, CLARA is looking for three professionals to carry out relevant actions of the project; CLARA is looking for: a Coordinator for Training and Knowledge Management, a Technical Manager and a Marketing Manager. The candidatures will be received till January 31st, at 19:00 GMT (in printed or digital format).

Scientists, representatives of some Governmental agencies and of the Latin-American NRENs, who met in Lima in the framework of the CLARA Workshop: "Strategic Agenda for e-Science in Latin America", suggest to the authorities of the countries of the region to create the "First Framework Programme for the Development of Science and Technology in Latin America".
