The Board of Directors of the National Academic Network of Advanced Technology of Colombia, RENATA, appointed Rafael Rodríguez Maldonado as the new executive director of the NREN.

Funded by IDRC and Sida the call is under the Technology and Innovation Programs, referred to the Development, Health, Information and Communication, Science and Technology topics, and its deadline its marked for June 28, 2020 by 23:45 (EDT).

Both courses are given by the Continuous Training School of CEDIA (National Research and Education Network of Ecuador) and have a duration of 40 hours and a cost that varies between USD $ 100 and USD $ 120 (+ VAT), depending on whether the enrolled person is or is not a member of the network.

The Ibero-American High Performance Computing Network (RICAP) announced the launch of its sixth call for access to HPC supercomputing resources. The call was created so that research groups that can hardly use supercomputing clusters to carry out their projects, can also have this type of infrastructure.
