AIRA (Intelligent Academic Network Agent) is a platform that provides access to multiple large-scale language models via a single interface, using each user’s institutional credentials through the Identity Federation. Designed for the academic and research ecosystem, with an emphasis on privacy, data sovereignty and ease of use, AIRA is a platform led by CEDIA that RedCLARA, together with its member NRENs, is rolling out regionally through a pilot scheme which we invite you to test. The aim is to validate the service, understand how researchers, lecturers, technical and administrative staff in different countries use it, and lay the foundations for offering it on a regional scale..

Register to take part in this pilot now at: Piloto regional — LLM federado: Formulario (only in Spanish).

NOTE: An LLM (Large Language Model) is a type of advanced artificial intelligence designed to understand, generate and process human language coherently; it uses neural networks to predict and produce text that emulates human speech. The LLM forms the basis of tools that are so popular today, such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude, etc.
