GÉANT opens registration and calls for proposals for Security Days 2025

GÉANT, the European research and education network, has announced that registration is open and calls for proposals are being launched for the Security Days 2025, which will take place from 8 to 10 April in Prague, Czech Republic. In its second edition, this conference seeks to bring together security experts from around the world linked to the research and education sectors.

The event aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information on threats and best practices by promoting connections between cybersecurity experts and people interested in security from across the international research and development community, including National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), universities, colleges, research infrastructures, and other organizations. Under the motto "Protecting what matters," Security Days 2025 highlights the protection of critical assets and promotes holistic approaches to strengthening digital resilience.

The deadline for submitting proposals is January 17, 2025. Interested parties can register and submit their proposals for 25-minute sessions or 5-minute lectures and participate in 90-minute panels on key areas such as security ethics, usability, technical aspects, organizational leadership, and critical network protection.

GÉANT and RedCLARA work closely together to strengthen a global research and education ecosystem by facilitating the exchange of knowledge and best practices in cybersecurity. This strategic alliance highlights the shared commitment to advancing research and education through safe and robust technologies.

The conference will be an opportunity to explore new perspectives, share innovative solutions, and connect with colleagues at a global level. For more information, visit the official website of the event:
