SCALAC Modernizes Its Digital Presence with a Redesigned Website

The Latin American and Caribbean Advanced Computing Network (SCALAC) has launched its revamped website, transforming how users access information about advanced computing in the region.

With a modern and functional design, the new portal offers an enhanced browsing experience, allowing visitors to intuitively explore SCALAC’s projects, from international collaborations to computing infrastructure developments. The site’s content is available exclusively in English.

The redesign also makes it easier to access the latest news and events, including conferences, meetings, and seminars related to advanced computing. The resources section offers educational materials, publications, and useful tools for the community, providing a clear vision of the organization’s mission and goals, along with information about the team leading the initiative.

The site interface (https://scalac.redclara.net/en/) also includes a dedicated space for the CARLA 2024 conference, the most important event in the region in the field of high-performance computing, which will take place this year in Chile from September 30 to October 4. This event will bring together decision-makers and researchers to discuss the latest trends, developments, and challenges in this field, and their impact on Latin America and the Caribbean.

In addition to the website redesign, SCALAC has updated its logo, reflecting a more modern image aligned with the network’s evolution. This new logo, along with the revamped website, symbolizes SCALAC’s commitment to innovation and progress in the field of advanced computing.
The SCALAC website update was supported by RedCLARA, its strategic partner.

RedCLARA provided technical assistance and essential resources for the redesign, ensuring that the new portal not only modernizes SCALAC’s online presence but also significantly improves the user experience. This collaboration reaffirms both organizations’ commitment to advancing advanced computing in the region, supporting research and digital transformation projects.
