Be part of the Sixth International Seminar on Sound and Audiovisual Archives
In this Seminar, experts from around the world will reflect on the preservation and, above all, the dissemination of Latin American sound and audiovisual heritage.
The public would have the possibility of participating and interacting with the speakers live and direct through the Seminar website and other partners online spaces. Communication will also d possible at distance, like in the interactive teleencuentros conducted within the seminar with remote sites in Latin America, thanks to the collaboration of the academic and scientific research networks such as RedCLARA in Latin America, Red IRIS from Spain, CEDIA from Ecuador, RENATA from Colombia and CUDI from Mexico.
To complement the activities of the Seminar, the program will include workshops conducted by national and international experts on various aspects of the conservation of sound and audiovisual heritage.
These activities are part of the Programme of Cooperation of the Latin American Conferences "IBERMEMORIA Sonora y Audiovisual” developed by Mexico and the Latin American General Secretariat (SEGIB) and chaired by the National Sound Archive at the Latin American countries to establish a model of comprehensive preservation of audio, audiovisual and films documents that make up the heritage of the countries of the region.
