RAICES members participate in Internet Day

El Salvador continues to make progress in planning the celebration of the Internet and universities are members of RAICES and as headquarters of the main activities that will be extended from 16 to 21 May. To start the event will be a videoconference over advanced networks.

Although the agenda is not ready yet, it is expected that the Internet Day celebration in El Salvador will have a component of advanced networks. The festival, which runs for a week, will open on Monday 16 May at the Universidad Centroamericana Jose Simeon Cañas (UCA), where he already plans to make a video using advanced Internet infrastructure provided by the Advanced Network Science and Education Research Salvadoran (RAICES).
 
The UCA is a member of RAICES, along with six other universities. The internet's Day celebration are also involved as the site of the central events Technological University of El Salvador (UTEC), the Universidad Francisco Gavidia (UFG), the University Don Bosco (UDB) and the Central Technological Institute (ITCA).
 
These entities will be conducted presentations on topics related to Internet use as well as exhibitions, fairs and other activities. The final agenda will be ready in late March.
