Colombia 3.0: First National Meeting on digital content

On October 5th to 8th will be held Colombia 3.0, the first national meeting on digital content that will gather in Bogotá entrepreneurs, developers, investment firms, academia and international experts related with the industry. The event will be transmitted through the National Academic Network of Advanced Technology (RENATA).

 

Colombia 3.0The Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications will held Colombia 3.0, the first national summit of digital content that will bring together entrepreneurs, developers, investment firms, academia and international experts sector. Colombia 3.0 will be held from 5 to 8 October in Bogota and will offer visitors a complete academic agenda, advance business conferences and develop "de-conferences" with global issues.

Colombia 3.0 is part of the Digital Content Policy currently being developed by the ICT Ministry and aims to triple its domestic sales for 2014, which currently amount to $ 70 million. The Policy focuses its activities on development in the country of smart phone applications, video games and digital animations. The objective of this initiative is that Colombia will become a regional destination for foreign firms to invest in the sector and develop their projects in the country.

The academic calendar will included Colombia 3.0 in the international specialist Gerd Leonhard, futurist leader in telecommunications, an expert in e-commerce models, media, mobile industry, social networking, television, radio and innovation. CEO of The Futures Agency and Visiting Professor at the Fundação Dom Cabral in Sao Paulo and Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Colombia 3.0 also has among its speakers to the American Jeffrey Cole who has been at the forefront of media and technology tools in the United States. He is Director of the newly created Center for the Digital Future, is research professor and has been a speaker at over 500 conferences on media and technology. He worked with the governments of Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton from the White House on issues of media and telecommunications.

Similarly, will attend the first meeting of the country's digital content organized by the ICT Ministry, Allison Cerra co-author of "The Shift: The Evolving, Market, Players and Business models in a 2.0 World", Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Public Relations Alcatel-Lucent's Americas region.

Talent

In parallel, Colombia 3.0 will offer a round of talent which included work appointments with representatives of companies and professionals that offer their talents to be employed in firms in the digital content industry.

Expomeeting also hold a conference with the participation of investment firms which have on their business plans to support entrepreneurial projects in the country.

Agenda

Among the themes covered in the de-conferences are the network of entrepreneurs from Bavaria, the copyright in the digital content industry, the Internet changed the way they study abroad, the future of Internet: The dominios.Co; Entrepreneurship in tourism and technology, among others.

The de-conferences are conferences in which the participants and attendees take an active participatory role. The term has been applied to various meetings in which we try to avoid one or more aspects of a conventional conference and in these the duration is short as opposed to major exhibitions lectures.
