LACNIC announces FTL2022 calls for papers

LACNIC is calling the Internet community to submit until February 16th their proposals for presentations to be included on the LTF agenda during our upcoming LACNIC 37 event. The event will be held in hybrid format on 2 to 6 May 2022 in Cali, Colombia, provided that the health situation allows it.

(Source: LACNIC) The LACNIC Technical Forum (LTF) is a space included in LACNIC's annual events, created for the international community to share their experiences, work, and initiatives related to various technical aspects of a common topic: Internet development in the region of Latin America and the Caribbean.

The following is a list of some of the topics of interest to the LTF, which we provide as a guide for participants who wish to submit a presentation. This list, however, is not exhaustive, as other technical topics of interest to the regional community may be addressed in proposals submitted in response to the call for presentations.

  • Operation of IP networks (success stories, best practices, etc.)
  • Internet protocols (routing, switching, etc.)
  • Domain Name System (DNS)
  • Interconnection of autonomous systems (peering, IXPs, CDNs, etc.)
  • IPv6: transition, deployment, advances
  • Measurements, tools, and analysis of protocols and Internet in general
  • Cybersecurity, among others.
