The activity, organized by the Chilean Computer Science Society (SCCC), includes in the program several conferences, workshops, meetings, tutorials and will involve the participation of prominent researchers.
During the XLI General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS) held in San Salvador, El Salvador from 5 to 7 of June 2011, Member States agreed that "Connecting the Americas: Partners for Prosperity" will be the central theme of the Sixth Summit of the Americas to be held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia on and April 14-15, 2012.
The event, that will take place on October 2 to 8, aims to encourage the study of mathematics and academic excellence in the university community.
