The Copernicus Panama Centre will host the First CopernicusLAC 2024 Hackathon, which will take place from October 11 to October 30, 2024. The main goal of this event is to stimulate creativity and collaboration in the use of Earth observation data in the region. It aims to promote innovation, develop technical skills, foster regional cooperation, and highlight how satellite data can address environmental and socio-economic challenges.

The integrated approach that recognizes the connection between human, animal, plant, and environmental health to provide more comprehensive and effective solutions, known as One Health, will be the focus of the next webinar hosted by the Latin American Telemedicine University Network (RUTE-AL).
