The work of EllaLink, owner and operator of the submarine cable that the Latin American and European academic networks will use through their connections to RedCLARA and GEÁNT, respectively, to connect Latin America and Europe through the BELLA Project, will be the subject of the Webinar which will take place on Friday, February 19, at 1:00 p.m. GMT.

This collaboration workshop discusses the topics common to all HPC trainers teaching online both in South America as well as in Europe. The speakers, among whom is the Executive Director of RedCLARA, Luis Eliécer Cadenas, and the General Coordinator of SCALAC, Dr. Carlos Jaime Barrios, have vast experience in the digitalisation efforts done boosted by the COVID-19.

With the aim of presenting two of the main advanced computing centers in South America and discussing the possibilities of supporting scientific activity that requires high-performance computing capabilities, the Webinar "Computing Capacities in the Region: Opportunities and New Ways" will take place on Monday, February 15th, at 4:00 p.m. GMT, organized by RedCLARA and the Advanced Computing System of Latin America and the Caribbean (SCALAC).
