Colaboratorio is a platform specially developed to support the work of academic and scientific communities. To this end, it offers a wide range of services that enable communities to share and promote knowledge, organize joint activities, and communicate in real time, optimizing time and efforts in a private, secure environment for its users.
Colaboratorio is a platform specially developed to support the work of academic and scientific communities. To this end, it offers a wide variety of services that allow communities to share and promote knowledge, organize joint activities and communicate in real time, optimizing time and efforts in an environment with privacy and security features for its users.
Thanks to the ELCIRA and MAGIC projects, the platform has evolved into a cloud service that can be incorporated into the portals of the National Research and Education Networks (NREN). The Colaboratorio is already used in this modality by the NRENs of Mexico (CUDI), Ecuador (CEDIA), Colombia (RENATA) and Costa Rica (RedCONARE), in Latin America, and WACREN, in the central-west region of Africa, MYREN (Malaysia) and the American University of Beirut (AUB), and is in the process of being adopted by the networks of Ethiopia (EtherNET) and Morocco (CNRST).
