The pan-European advanced network GÉANT launched, in alliance with RedCLARA, a program of four webinars that will be given by industry security experts and the GÉANT community at large within the framework of the Cybersecurity Month and its campaign "A Community of Cyber ​​​​Heroes".

The objective of the program is to increase knowledge and awareness of cybersecurity in the broad international research and education community by providing its members and users with specific and personalized content and useful tools in the fight against cybercrime. The collaboration between the two international organizations includes contributions from the NRENs of Latin America, the participation as speaker of Emilio Nakamura, CISO of RNP, the NREN of Brazil, and the availability of live interpretation services in three languages ​​(English, Spanish and Portuguese).

The first session will take place on October 6 and will have as its theme “Prime Crime: Ransomware has grown and we should too”, with the presentation of Charl van der Walt (Orange Cyberdefense).
