The Ibero-American Network for High Performance Computing (RICAP) announced the launch of its fourth call for access to HPC supercomputer resources. The call was created to allow research groups that can hardly use supercomputing clusters to carry out their projects to have access to this type of infrastructure.

Applications must be sent to the e-mail address indicating in the subject "Request for the fourth call for resources HPC of RICAP", until July 15, deadline for the submission of proposals. The estimated date for the use of resources runs from September 1 to October 31, 2019.

According to Rafael Mayo, coordinator of RICAP, requests should be sent by the principal researcher of the research group concerned. Institutions or projects as such, therefore, are not targets of the call.

The calculation time allocated to each group (the CPU hours) does not have a definitive estimate, varying according to what each candidate requests and the availability of each institution.
