Primer Día Virtual de e-Ciencia EELA-2: Sesión de Astronomía

EELA-2 (E-science grid facility for Europe and Latin America) le invita a participar en el primer Día Virtual EELA-2 de e-Ciencia, a realizarse el día 18 de marzo a las 19:00 GMT por videoconferencia. Ésta, será la primera de una larga lista de actividades que desarrollará EELA-2 en línea, en colaboración con la Universidad de Los Andes, CIDA, CeCalcULA (las tres de Venezuela) y CLARA (Cooperación Latino Americana de Redes Avanzadas), durante el presente año.

Astronomía será el área científica inicial

Bajo el título de "Explorando el universo a través de sus estrellas", el Dr. Gustavo Bruzual, del Centro de Investigaciones de Astronomía (CIDA - Venezuela), expondrá desde Francia el día 18 de Marzo a las 19:00 GMT.

Quienes deseen participar en la actividad deben contactarse, hasta el día 17 de marzo a las 18:00 GMT, con María José López Pourailly (mjlopezreuna.cl / maria-jose.lopezredclara.net) indicando su intención por registrarse y conectarse; las coordinaciones técnicas las llevará a cabo José Daniel Cardozo (jdanielula.ve).

EELA-2 (E-science grid facility for Europe and Latin America) invites you to participate in the First EELA-2 e-Science Virtual Day, to be held in Wednesday 18th March at 19:00 GMT by videoconference. This will be the first activity of an intense agenda of activities that EELA-2 will carry out on-line and in collaboration with the University of Los Andes, CIDA and CeCalcULA (the three institutions from Venezuela) and CLARA (Latin American Cooperation of Advanced Networks) during 2009.

Astronomy will be the initial scientific area

From France, Dr. Gustavo Bruzual of the Centre of Research in Astronomy - CIDA (Venezuela), will give a presentation entitled as "Exploring the Universe through its stars".
